With Agile’s training program, you will not only master the fundamentals but also gain a deep understanding of how to make repairs, diagnose problems, and troubleshoot issues correctly.

Hands-On Demonstrations

At Agile Group, we believe in the power of hands-on learning. Our soldering instructors provide in-depth lectures and interactive demonstrations to help accelerate learning and engage students. Practice exercises are utilized to build a better understanding of methods and help you master the skill of soldering. You will have the chance to assemble and solder practice pieces and then have your workmanship samples evaluated and graded.

Qualified Instructors

Our Certified IPC Trainers (CIT) are highly qualified and experienced professionals with years of experience in soldering. They understand all process aspects and can provide clear, expert instruction for beginners and veterans alike. Our instructors are each passionate teachers and competent soldering masters who have firsthand experience in the manufacturing field and will exceed expectations to prepare you for your career. Our instructors have obtained theoretical knowledge of the different methods and processes used for soldering operations as industry standards require. Therefore, they can quickly adapt their teaching methods according to your specific needs so that you can better understand the subject matter under study.

Our training programs cover a range of topics, including but not restricted to:

  • Safety Practices for Soldering
Safety is the first and most important aspect of our soldering training. We cover the safe handling and use of soldering equipment, as well as best practices for soldering in a way that minimizes the risk of injury or damage to products.
  • Advanced Soldering Techniques:
We provide hands-on instruction and practice exercises to help students develop soldering techniques, such as through-hole soldering, surface mount soldering, and rework techniques. In our J Standard Soldering Process (J-STD-001) Inspection Criteria (IPC-A-610), Wire Harness Assembly (IPC/WHMA-A-620), and Rework and Repair (IPC-7711/7721) courses, we help create a foundation of knowledge to advance your skills better.
  • Reading and Interpreting Circuit Board Schematics:
Understanding circuit board schematics is critical to successful soldering. We teach students how to read and interpret circuit board schematics, including identifying different components and understanding how they fit together.
  • Component Identification and Selection:
Choosing the right components for a given circuit board is essential for successful soldering. We teach how to identify components, including resistors, capacitors, and transistors, and select the appropriate components for a given board.
  • Understanding the Properties of Different Types of Solders:
There are several types of solder, each with its properties and best use cases. We provide instruction on the properties of different types of solder, including lead-free solders, and help employees understand how to choose the right solder for a given application.

By covering these topics, we ensure our students understand the soldering process and are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to produce high-quality electronics and appliances. Our training programs are customizable to meet the needs of different teams and departments, ensuring that each individual receives the most relevant training for their work.
